Through our 25+ years of experience in working with Australian and overseas experts to train scientists in agricultural research, we have reached more than 10,000 people from 40 countries.
This puts us in a good position to identify particular areas of training needed, and in response to identified needs, we developed our Master Class in Communicating Research to Stakeholders and our new Master Class in Agricultural Research Leadership and Management.
The Crawford Fund is calling for applicants to participate in its first five-day Master Class in Agricultural Research Leadership and Management, to be held at the WorldFish Centre, Penang, Malaysia on November 6-12, 2016.
It will provide additional skills to senior project and program leaders in research leadership and management, and improve management of publicly-funded agricultural research systems supporting the development needs of countries throughout the world.

The new Master Class draws on past training, latest thinking and best practice, from both the public and private sectors. It will be about how individuals can navigate the path from scientific and technical expertise roles, to new positions requiring the leadership skills necessary to lead people, projects and program teams, and ultimately research institutes.
The Master Class will provide state-of-the-art learnings delivered from hands-on perspectives by experienced and successful practitioners.
