26-28 August 2014
As part of the Fund’s efforts to encourage young people in their study or careers in international agricultural research, Conference Scholarships were again offered to young Australian agricultural scientists with a genuine interest in international agricultural development to attend the Crawford Fund 2014 Parliamentary Conference.
Awards were made to cover related transport, registration and accommodation costs. Information for supporters To help us fund attendance of young scientists and students to attend our conference, the Crawford Fund is offering conference delegates the opportunity to donate additional funds, above their registration fees, for this purpose. Donations can be made during the registration process. Donations are tax deductible and a separate receipt will be provided for this purpose. Individuals, organisations or companies that opt to make a donation will be listed in the conference proceedings, should they wish, and will be advised of the additional students who were able to attend. |
Comments from past scholars:“…the ability for like-minded people who are passionate about food security and agriculture to network in such forums as The Crawford Fund Parliamentary Conference is a leap in the right direction to producing more from less.” “The insight and opportunities for scientific research highlighted during the conference are valuable for food security interventions and will inform our focus into future studies/interests. Thanks to everyone and all organisers of the conference.” |
