Jennifer Kelly, Senior Innovation Systems Broker, CSIRO Agriculture and Food Sustainability Research Program

As a Senior Innovation Systems Broker with the Catalysing Innovation and Impact team, in CSIROs Agriculture and Food Sustainability Research Program, Jennifer designs and experiments with different agriculture innovation processes, policies and practices for enhanced impact. Specifically, she focuses on facilitating and enabling collaborations with a variety of innovation system actors in Australia, Southeast Asia, the Pacific and East Africa to explore how agri-food systems innovation research and practice can work together to accelerate and scale the impact of agricultural research. Jennifer is an accredited Partnership Broker with expertise in innovation systems, capacity building and program planning, monitoring, evaluation and learning. Currently she is working on projects that explore the conditions that enable and constrain research and private sector collaboration, agribusiness-led innovation, transformational innovation in agri-food systems, resilient agri-food systems, and the adoption of knowledge and technology in both Australia and developing countries. Prior to this, she held positions in Local Governments in Australia, United Nations Women in Timor Leste and the Australian Government collaborative partnership titled Food Systems Innovation.
